    BlockHacks is a blockchain hackathon for entrepreneurs, enthusiasts, designers and developers. The hackathon will take place over a 24-hour period and will include workshops by blockchain industry professionals. The focus is on inspiring the next generation of blockchain entrepreneurs to build decentralized applications, contribute to code at the infrastructure level and create cool new ways to introduce people to blockchains and digital currency. His journey into Blockchain began as an early adopter of Bitcoin in 2012 and as an Ethereum Developer in 2015. As an instructor at BlockchainHub, an innovation centre based out of York University; Stu has taught on multiple topics including ethereum and solidity development to some of Canada’s largest consulting firms. Stu has led and executed projects at some of the most innovative emerging projects in the Blockchain space as the Chief Technical Officer of ChainSafe Systems. Priom Chowdhury is a co-founder and Chief Security Officer of ChainSafe Systems. He first got interested in Cryptocurrency back in 2009 when Bitcoin was first initially released. Priom is a full-stack developer with a strong focus on devops and system infrastructure of ChainSafe Systems and it’s clients. He has true passion, dedication and thrive for building innovative products using cutting-edge technologies like Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality. During the workshop we will start with an overview on the EVM with a focus on Parity. We will then explore Solidity, write a smart contract, deploy and interact with it. Development tools specific to Ethereum will be discussed and used throughout the workshop. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Many Prizes to be won.
