Chronic Pain Australia Hackathon
Chronic Pain Australia is hosting the first Chronic Pain Hackathon bringing together tech's, UX designers, data scientists, health professionals and people living with chronic pain to design solutions to social isolation, pain and medication management, lifestyle, mental health and other challenges.
The social design hackathon (first used for TechFugees Australia) will ensure the end users (people living with chronic pain) mentor and collaborate with hackers to develop a minimum viable prototype for Chronic Pain Australia to give to its members for free. Stories of people living with chronic pain will frame the hackathon intent and purpose.
A prize will be awarded to bring the the winning idea to life as well as in kind support to further develop the app/website.
The winning team will either continue working on the application, or will hand over source materials for CPA to use to build the app/website. The app or website will be distributed for free to Chronic Pain Australia members.
