Civic Hackathon for Hurricane Relief

Covalence Coding Academy and General Provision Coworking proudly present NIGHT HACK: A Civic Hackathon for Hurricane Relief and Disaster Recovery.

In the wake of natural disasters like Hurricane Irma and Maria we have a great opportunity to build solutions, data sets, and tools through technology that can solve a pain point for many people during times of need. We want to use our recent experience with the storm to inspire a solution that will be beneficial to users for all future hurricanes coming our way.

Hackathon Rules:

1. Only code written during the hackathon will be accepted--no existing projects will be eligible.

2. No more than 4 people per team. Each team member must register on Eventbrite.

3. Team must submit code through Github for review (repo will be setup at Hackathon).

4. Specifics and details of the civic requirements will only be released at the Hackathon.
