Climathon Honolulu: Pizza & Film Night

Join us for a special double-feature film screening as part of Climathon Honolulu!  We'll provide the pizza, drinks, and films. We're showing two engaging films about the connection between humans and planet: Infected Earth and The Human Element. Below are the synopsis for both.  Preview of climate change TV series:  Dr Darragh O’Carroll will share a screening of a TV episode in progress that deals with public health and climate change. He just returned from emergency response in Abaco Island in the Bahamas where Hurricane Dorian devastated the islands. Dr. O'Carroll will be there to discuss his films.  The Human Element: With rare compassion and heart, THE HUMAN ELEMENT follows environmental photographer James Balog on his quest to highlight Americans on the front lines of climate change, inspiring us to re-evaluate our relationship with the natural world. Watch a trailer of The Human Element here.
