We're absolute connoisseurs of fine beer and hackathons at DoSelect. Which is why we find an excuse to bring these two things together every year for the noble beer-loving developers in Bangalore. Code For Beer is DoSelect's annual hackathon where beer flows and you get to hack on cool stuff over the entire day, building things for fun and value. Mostly fun. *hic*
Tracks
This year, we've chosen the following tracks or themes on which particiants might base their hack on.
Blockchain
Blockchain is definitely the flavor of the season, and we don't want to left behind! A technology that has massive opportunities to build great stuff on, show what you can do with it!
Machine Learning
The world is going bonkers on the far reaching consequences possibilities of machine learning, and we're sure you would have some great ideas to hack on.
Developer Tools
Tooling is probably the most important part of a developer's job, and hackathons generally ignore this category -- not us! Show us things you can build to make your own life easier!
Open Source
Most of us owe a lot to open-source technologies and projects that we use everyday, and heavily in production. This is our homage to the spirit of giving back -- pick a project that you use, add a fix or a new feature and get it merged!
Participation
You must work in teams of 3 (a number that we've found after great many calculations). You must register all members of your team, choose a track and describe your idea in brief -- don't worry, we won't hold you on to this. You are free to change this later as long as you are in the same track.
NOTE: This is an invite-only event. After registering for the hackathon, wait for the final comfirmation to attend on your email. We shall send the final events by December 13th, 2017.
