Code Pyramid Developers Meet up

Code Pyramid is a meet up group for developers, designers and techies in Kano. We come together every month to network, share ideas, opportunities and provide solutions to challenges faced by members. We also provide mentorship on development and professional coaching on presentation skills, public speaking, project management and lots more.

Our maiden edition which held last month witnessed over 50 developers, designers and techies with some coming all the way from neighboring states. We discussed the basic problems facing the tech ecosystem and how to overcome it. We also laid a road map for subsequent meet ups. There was also a question and answer session for members to pitch their opinion and suggestions for building a better tech ecosystem.

This months’ meet up is packed with interesting activities like product demos and a mini hackathon with exotic prices for winners and for those with the best innovative products or services. The theme is “Building solutions for the immediate community and creating more awareness for indigenous tech solutions”. There will also be a question and answer session and short talks on latest trends and best practices in the industry. Half an hour will be dedicated for informal discussions and networking among members.

The meet up is scheduled to take place on the 26th November, 2016. The time is from 1:30pm to 4pm. Venue is at No C5 Tarauni Opp Dankoli Store (Lautai House), Kano.
