Colony 5 Civic Tech Challenge

In August we issued a challenge to entrepreneurs, corporate citizens and the investing community – to work with us to create business-driven smart communities.  The time is now!! 

The Colony 5 Civic Tech Challenge wants potential idea leaders to think and design “into the future” by weaving innovation into the fabric of their business concept for interaction, technologies like the Internet of Things, wearables, driverless cars, etc. This weekend we will be selecting the TOP 3 IDEA LEADERS to become Entrepreneur in residence at UI LABS and receive over $100K in support!!!  Additionally, TOP 6 will become apart of Colony 5 Cohort!!!

The Colony 5 Civic Tech Challenge began accepting submissions online August 1st, and you can still submit your entrepreneurial idea at https://colony5challenge.devpost.com entry closes on October 31st. 

Submissions have come from entrepreneurs with early-stage ideas to solid business concepts, enabled by a variety of technology - designed to make these businesses sustainable, relevant, and scalable. We encourage idea generators to join this citywide Civic Tech Challenge, and engage with us at this event and our workshops and other events.

The top 3 submissions will be selected to develop their prototype!!! 

Submit your entrepreneurial ideas to the Challenge (before 10/31) and join us for the weekend and prepare to change your life and the life of your community!!
