Content Marketing Hackathon

Join Boston Content for our first Content Marketing Hackathon and exerise your marketing skills on an early stage startup in need of marketing strategy. This is an opportunity to work with a completely new team of people, learn brainstorming strategy and get inspired by new ideas while you help a young company succeed with their marketing efforts. As always, there will be networking before and after the session and beer/wine provided by General Assembly and snacks!

How It Works

The hackathon kicks off with a startup from the WeWork commuity presenting their existing marketing strategy, challenges they've faced and goals they want to reach from their marketing efforts. Next, our hackathon host, Julie Carey from Virgin Pulse, will lead the group in a brainstorming exercise designed to identify the top 3 marketing initiatives that the startup should pursue. After that, we'll break you up into 3 groups where you'll spend an hour coming up with ideas for how to tackle one of these iniatives led by one of our team leaders. Finally, we'll all come back together and each team will present their recommendations to the rest of the group.
