County Committee Sunlight Project 2nd Annual Hackathon And Summit

With the new election reforms passed in January, petitioning season for this years county committee elections—Manhattan, Staten Island for Democrats, and all 5 boroughs for Republicans—has been moved up to February 26th. Join us and other dedicated county committee citizen activists as come together to improve transparency and inclusiveness in local politics at Manny Cantor Center, in collaboration with Grand Street Dems and others.  This year our hackathon focus will be revamping and buidling on our run kit to make the petitioning process as straight forward as possible.  In addition, we'll also be having guest speakers share experiences and knowledge, and you'll get a chance to connect with local groups across NY city.  Space is limited and this event is free.
