Creating Reality AR/VR Hackathon @ USC Los Angeles

Participation and registration is by invitation - to learn more or apply please visit the hackathon website

The Creating Reality hackathon is structured more like a 4-day SXSW than a traditional hackathon that will set a record for both size and originality of project submissions. Its foundation is a one-time, purpose-built, diverse, international and large-scale community of 400 participants, selected from over 2,000 applications. This community’s core purpose is to deepen our understanding of how these technologies can be applied.

The hackathon is modeled after the successful Reality VIrtually Hackathon sponsored by the MIT Media Lab and adapted for the USC and LA community. It begins on Monday, March 12th with enabling workshops, followed by two days of building AR and VR experiences.

The 400 participants  will form interdisciplinary teams that will build original work that deepens our understanding of how AR and VR can be applied..
