Abstract
Every year at Data Modeling Zone (DMZ), I reflect on my assignments since the last DMZ, and share patterns observed that might influence our work in the years to come.
Many of the observations shared at prior DMZ events have proven to influence our work such as our stronger relationship with the data scientist and the increased role of NoSQL within our organizations.
This past year at DMZ US, I raised three challenges facing the data modeler, and that evening over 100 data modelers tackled these challenges as part of our annual Data Modeling Hackathon.
On this webinar, we will discuss the three challenges followed by the results of the Hackathon.
