Frequently Asked Questions

----------------------------------

Q: Can I participate remotely?

A: If you're not in San Francisco 12/9-12/11, you can participate as a remote team member. Debug Politics is beta testing a system that allows people from all over the world to contribute to ideas presented in SF. Fill out this 30 second form if you're interested: bitly.com/DebugPoliticsRemote

Q: What if I cannot make it on Friday?

A: Show up as early as you can on Saturday. Teams will still be refining their ideas by then and you are welcome to show up with your own idea or team. We'll work with you to get you on a team and/or provide you with resources to complete your project. If you or your team absolutely cannot attend but you complete a project that you want to demo, you can still present it at the viewing party if you can make it on Sunday. Let an organizer know as early as you can if this is the case.

Q: How will teams be formed?

A: During kickoff night, anyone with a project idea can come up and give a short elevator pitch and describe what skills they are needing on their team. We then leave it to you to connect with the projects that most match your interests and require your skills.

You are also welcome to come with a team already formed. It’s also ok to arrive at the event with a project that you’ve been working on previously.

We'll do our best to match skill sets to projects throughout the entire event. Let an organizer know what you need.
