Deep Dive Code-A-Thon 2019

The Deep Dive Code-A-Thon is a community-focused weekend hackathon for software developers to come together, form teams, and build cool apps.

Participants that attend will be able to pitch ideas based on a community-minded theme announced Friday night. Then app ideas will be narrowed and participants will form teams to work together on a prototype. Everyone will have the weekend to build and develop a prototype to be presented on Sunday to the public.

Finally, the weekend will culminate with demonstrations in front of an audience of judges and senior programmers, with prizes awarded to the winning teams.

Open to all level of software developers. Here are some guidelines:

Junior level developers should be prepared to follow team leads and be able to read and write code at a basic level.
Mid level developers should be prepared to breakdown complex problems and be able to offer multiple solutions.
Senior level developers should be prepared to lead a team of Mids and Juniors during the Code-a-thon.

Friday

4pm to 5:30pm - Opening Night Orientation at FreeRange off central

5:30 to 7:30pm - BlockFiesta Afterparty at Rio Bravo Brewing Downtown

Saturday

All Day - Code!  (FreeRange will be open from 8am to 5pm)

Sunday

(FreeRange will be open starting at 8am)

Noon - All Coding Stops

Noon to 4pm Eat, Watch Presentations, Judging and Winners Annoucement, Networking
