Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

If you are not a high school student then you cannot attend this event. ID's are required during check-ins so make sure you bring it!

What should I bring?

Bring your fully charged laptop, mouse, and any snacks that you prefer. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is included during the event. If you're planning on sleeping, bring a sleeping bag, pillow, and toothbrush.

What is security like at the event?

The venue will be locked down overnight, and students under 18 will not be able to leave without an parent there to pick them up.

Where will I sleep?

Students who plan to sleep can sleep anywhere in the venue, or in the designated sleeping room. Don't forget to pack a sleeping bag and pillow!

What should I build?

We usually like to see projects that are innovative, and have the potential to improve or influence people’s lives. Try to build a hack that people can use, enjoy, and potentially scale. Most importantly, have fun with it and try to finish on time. We know you can only do so much in 24 hours, so it’s ok if your project is not perfect (yet).

Finally in this day and age of selfies and squad photos, it’s likely that photos and/or video will be taken at the event. By entering the venue, you’re giving us the OK to snap photos and post to social media.

For more info, don’t hesitate to visit our website www.defhacks.xyz or hit us up at ca@defhacks.xyz.

We’re excited to see you there!
