Join us in San Francisco as we get together to discuss the future of food and the retail landscape. We'll be teaming up with designers, entrepreneurs, and biohackers to brainstorm and design the future shopping experience.

What is a Clean Meat?

Clean meat, cultured meat, or sometimes known as lab-grown meat, is deriving meat products by way of cellular agriculture technologies instead of traditional animal farming. Popularized by the "lab grown hamburger" in 2013, lab grown meat is starting to become a reality. Clean meat could radically change the world in regards to the environment, animal welfare, and health. 

What is a Design Jam?

We'll be getting into small groups of designers and hackers to brainstorm what the next generation storefront will look like. This is a mini-hackathon where groups work on visuals, sketches, and concepts of future retail stores.

Cultured Meat Symposium

Cultured Meat Symposium (CMS18) is a one day event being held on November 1st, 2018 in San Francisco. This year the symposium is focusing on Impact, Future, and Flavor tracks and these topics related to cultured meat. CMS18 brings together entrepneurs, investors, scientists, and industry professionals discussing cellular agriculture topics.

San Francisco User Experience Designers

San Francisco UX Designers is a group that discusses the role of design in software development. From visual design, user interface design, front-end development to backend programming, the role of design is essential. Learn how to improve the visual appearance or functionality of your project through design thinking.
