This summer in Barcelona the largest Hackathon about Design, Creativity and Citizen Education in Technology will be held. 

20 days of competitions in various creative disciplines (graphic design, corporate, ideas, campaigns ...) with wonderful awards.

DesignHack also is the largest Hackathon event with massive social impact:

FAQs

 

Who can participate in the DesignHack competitions?

The teams are composed of designers, graphic artists, developers, marketers and business people. The participants can be students, freelancers, entrepreneurs and citizens.

How long does the competition take?

The DesignHack event will be held for 20 days. Each participant will compete in a team for 4 hours in one morning or afternoon session.

What can I do if I want to participate in more than one competition?

The ticket for the DesignHack is for the participation in one working sesion of 4 hours and to compete in one daily competition. If you want to participate in more days and by this in more competitions, you need to take a ticket for each day and to notify me that those tickets are related to you and your participation in different days. 

How I know when I will participate?

All the teams will be build from June 25th to July 1st 2016.

You will be notified for the next steps of the registration process when you take your ticket.

What are the challenges of DesignHack?

Our sponsors will choose the challenges and they will be about designing logos, objects, souvenirs or ideas on video-spots or advertising campaigns.

What are the awards?

Every day one of the projects will win an monetary award and the team will have the possibility to be hired by the enterprise which offered the challenge.

At the end of all the challenges, we will choose the best among all the presented projects. The final prize will be chosen by popular vote in the media. This prize depend on the number of challenges achieved.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Every participant will be identified at the entrance of the event with his/her ID document.

The participants should be older than 18 years.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

The participants in the Hackathon competitions should bring their own computers, instruments and tools.

It is totally prohibited to sell goods in the event areas.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

The ticket is not transferrable and you need to be identified by your ID document.

Can I update my registration information?

If you need to make changes in your registration, send them to katerina@souvenir.barcelona.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You don't need to bring a printed ticket. However, you will be asked to show the pdf copy.
