Devils Invent: IoT

Devils Invent is a series of weekend long design events (48 hours) where we encourage Fulton Engineering students to design, build, and implement innovative solutions to challenging problem statements. This event is specific to IoT.

Our IoT Devils Invent is unlike any we have done before. Thanks to support form Allstate and Cisco, we will be partnering with Queen’s University Belfast to bring you our first ever collaborative international hackathon. Teams will be comprised of 2 ASU students and 2 QUB students who will work together to solve our design challenge. The challenge will be centered around the Internet of Things, which is basically the concept of connecting any device with an on and off switch to the Internet (and/or to each other).

    Challenge Statement:

How can we use IoT technology to ensure resources are not wasted in both Phoenix and Belfast?

Devils Invent will be hosted in the Generator Labs (ECG 100-Tempe campus) and use the surrounding eSpaces and 3D print lab.
