Digital Reality Hackathon

‘Life is a badly designed game.’ This was said by someone who then observed that new technologies can pave the way to happier lives of people struggling with disabilities or other setbacks. A safer world, a world in which people can really meet each other, on- ànd offline. This is what the Hackathon Digital Reality of March 4/5 aims at.

To do so, you’ll meet likeminded people at a comfortable location in Eindhoven: engineers, designers, ICT-specialists and other ‘saviour of the world’. Technically skilled or not, anyone able to bring in valuable contributions to lift up the challenges is welcome. Together, you’ll be digging for ways to make Holland more sociable, friendly en helpful. You’ll do so by means of Virtual – of Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, gaming-technologies, robotics or whatever you think may be useful.

‘Het leven is een slecht ontworpen game’. Dat zei eens iemand die zag dat je met nieuwe technologie het leven van mensen-met-problemen veel plezieriger en gelukkiger kunt maken. Een veiliger wereld, een wereld waarin mensen elkaar makkelijker (ook fysiek!) kunnen ontmoeten. Zie daar het doel van de Hackathon Digital Reality die op 4 en 5 maart 2017 wordt georganiseerd.

Op een comfortabele plek in Eindhoven kun je samen met engineers, designers, ICT’ers en andere ‘wereldverbeteraars’ aan de slag. Technisch onderlegd of niet, iedereen die op een zinnige wijze kan bijdragen aan één van de uitdagingen is welkom. Je gaat op zoek naar manieren om met bijvoorbeeld Virtual – of Augmented Reality, Kunstmatige Intelligentie, gaming-technieken of robotica Nederland socialer, behulpzamer en gezonder te maken.
