Ladies and gentlemen, Discover has turned on the Hackathon sign. If you haven’t already done so, please read all the details below carefully.
The travel and tourism industry is the fastest-growing economic sector globally and is forecasted to contribute more than 2.6 trillion U.S. dollars to GDP by 2027. Even with tourism being a personal focus and source of income for many people globally, there are still major gaps in the way we experience it.
That’s where you come in. Whether it be helping people clarify tip etiquette or currency conversions we are looking to you to create the next best financial technology milestone in travel.
Please take your seat, register for a ticket, and make sure your seat back and your laptop are in their full upright positions. And as always, thanks for hacking with us.
