The Digital Manufacturing Commons (DMC) Team plans on hosting a DMC User Group meeting from 9:00am - 5:00pm on Friday, July 15th at the UI LABS Innovation Center in Chicago, IL, which will be followed that evening and weekend by a DMC hackathon.
The User Group meeting will be an in-depth round of updates on DMC, some hands-on getting started sessions, and a no-holds-barred solicitation of community input and feedback.
The Hackathon will begin following the DMC User Group Meeting and is themed around Hacking the Digital Factory. A challenge statement will be provided and teams will be formed to hack out a DMC app that solves the problem. Subject matter experts will be on-hand to help the teams, and $5,000 or more in prizes will be awarded! These sessions are slated to start at 6:00pm on Friday, July 15th and end at 6:00pm on Sunday, July 17th.
Be sure to sign up today as space is limited! If you wish to attend BOTH the DMC User Group meeting as well as the Hackathon, please be sure to reserve a ticket for each!
