What is the Event?

The 2nd annual #EndAlz Hackathon is a one day event where members from the Boston tech community come together to create software for the benefit of caregivers, researchers, and people living with Alzheimer's disease. We emphasize collaboration over competition and aim to be as inclusive as possible, which is why our event is open to everybody regardless of your background and encourage both technical and nontechnical people to participate.

Who should come?

Designers, developers, marketers, entrepreneurs, dreamers, people looking to write their first line of code, companies looking to hire top tech talent, individuals looking for job opportunities, experienced coders looking to collaborate on projects or showcase their skills, investment groups looking to connect with innovative startups, members of the Alzheimer's community interested in technology, organizations that want to compete against elite software groups, startups looking for recognition in a competitive market, and anyone interested in supporting a great cause!

Registration

We'd really appreciate it if in addition to letting us know here that you're coming, that you also sign up on the Alzheimer's Association page (http://act.alz.org/site/TR?company_id=139184&fr_id=8480&pg=company). We also encourage those interested in supporting the Alzheimer's Association to fundraise or donate through their team page!

Optional Orientation

The night before the event, June 3rd, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm we'll be holding an optional orientation at HourlyNerd's office (same location as event). This is a great opportunity to find more information about the event and connect with other participants in a friendly, laid-back environment.

Food day of Event

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks will be provided on the 4th by our wonderful sponsors: Boloco, Bastille Kitchen, Whole Foods, and Roche Bros.
