EngHack
EngHack is Waterloo's engineering hackathon! Held termly by the Engineering Society, EngHack is targeted toward engineering students with all levels of experience. Whether you're a vetran major league hacker, or you've never even heard the word "hackathon" before, we'd love you to come out and spend 26 hours with us. Your ability doesn't matter, only your willingness to have a great time!
Teams must be 1 to 4 people, consisting of at least 1 UW engineering student.
ENGHACK IS OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS. The cost for this event is $10.00, but is subsidized to $5.00 by the UW Engineering Society, for engineering students only.
The event will run from 1:30pm on Saturday, June 25th until 3:30pm on Sunday, June 26th. There will be 21 hours of hacking. You don't have to worry about food, we've got that covered! But if you're going to want to sleep during the event (I don't blame you), we regret that we aren't able to provide a comfortable place to do that. You're welcome to either take a nap on your desk or on the floor (be creative!) or go home for a couple of hours. Of course, we encourage you to stay up for the entire event if you want, but it definitely isn't necessary.
