FaithTech Vancouver Hackathon
This is where faith meets action. Hackathons are an exciting, short-term community environment, where we can tackle challenges and find solutions using technology to move the mission of Jesus forward. Join us for a weekend where you'll meet other passionate developers and creators seeking to make an impact in Vancouver and the world. Come on your own or bring a team!
The hackathon starts on the Friday night with a speaker panel who are bringing their perspective and expertise on the challenges around us. Then time for action! In a small group, dive in and use your skills to build something practical and useful to address an issue. We'll have all the food, help, and support you'll need to get you going. Finally, present what you've worked on and share it with everyone!
Fee: There's no fee to participate in the hackathon weekend. Meals are covered too!
Registration: During ticket checkout, please take a moment to fill out the form as your registration for the hackathon will not be complete without this information (you will be redirected upon checkout).
Agenda:
- Fri, Nov 17 (6:00 PM - 11 PM): Speaker panel; project introductions; start hacking

- Sun, Nov 19 (9:00 AM - 2:00 PM): Finalize presentations; judging
Venue & Directions:
The hackathon is being hosted at The Network Hub in downtown Vancouver (422 Richards Street). The entrance is located under the orange "The Network Hub" sign and next to the Vegan Pudding shop (across from the Subway). The meeting space is on the third floor of the building – there will be signs to guide you.
If you're taking the SkyTrain, it's a couple minute walk from Waterfront and Granville stations.
Bike parking is not available at the venue, so if you bike your best option is on-street bike racks.
On-street meter parking is available on Richards Street as well as the surrounding streets. Free parking is available a short 10 minute walk away just east of Gastown (east of Main Street on Alexander, Powell and Cordova St).
