WHY #FESTIVALHACKDAY?

Festivalhackday is a data-driven Hackathon at Eurosonic Noorderslag Music Festival in Groningen, which revolves around sensor technology, data analysis and visualisation with the aim of improving festival production at Eurosonic Noorderslag and inspire other festival organizers by showing what is possible with technology.

Eurosonic Noorderslag 2015 has 345 performing acts performing at 50 different venues in the city of Groningen to an audience of 41,200 music lovers.

Got an idea for a solution? Want to learn how to gather, visualise and analyse data? Or just want to see what all this data science stuff is about? Come along and hack for a good cause. All skillsets are welcome .
