Fishackathon 2018 Auckland

Fishackathon is an epic, global hackathon to help make Earth's waters, aquaculture, and fisheries more sustainable & equitable. Simultaneously in cities all round the world, teams will spend the weekend competing to build tech solutions to real ocean problems posed by experts. At our event in Auckland, we will have on hand expert mentors to help you get to grips with the problems. There are massive prizes in the global competition, but also valuable prizes that must be won by local teams: $5000 USD in AWS credits, $3000 NZD in cash from Foundation North/GIFT of the Gulf and the Defence Technology Agency, plus facilities and support from GridAKL.
