Food, Glorious Food: Reinventing a Sustainable Food Ecosystem

Do you want to spend the day reinventing a sustainable food eco-system?

During the past 6 months, MakeSense has been focusing on the Food Security Cause. We put our efforts into helping Food Social Entrepreneurs to tackle their challenges with innovative design thinking workshops, mini-hackathon, public debate blended with live music and a day long festival “Farmers of the Future” and its focus upon Food Production.

MakeSense Festival: "Food, Glorious Food" will take into account the whole cycle:

Food Production, Distribution and Consumption. It will take place at the Calthorpe Project near King’s Cross.

Here is our recipe:

● First, we will start the day with tasty and mindful activities,

● Second, we will hear from a few great entrepreneurs tackling parts of this huge topic,

● Third, Form teams and give all we have to build possible solutions for the Social Entrepreneurs;

● Fourth, Getting hungry? We will start cooking using our grown food and unused food;

● Fifth, we will relax and enjoy the amazing lunch we prepared;

● Sixth, while digesting, if we will still have some energy, we will explore to wake up our curiosity around the Calthorpe Project;

● Seventh, Discovering new concepts, our imagination will flourish and we will have time to create;

● Eighth, we will share our best ideas; Pitch time;

● Ninth, Let's Celebrate!
