Who can participate in FutureHack 2018?

Anyone can join! As long as you are passionate about coding, you are more than welcome to join!

What are the rules for forming a team?

The minimum member count for a team is 3, and each team must not exceed 5 members.

We recommend a well-balanced team that includes a designer, passionate soon-to-be coder and a marketer.

What will we be building in FutureHack 2018?

Participants are expected to build websites and web apps related to the event theme.

What is our theme “Hacking University Life” about?

Create products that will simplify and enrich a student’s daily life. Or make Uni less lame and tedious if that suits you.

What are the things do I need to prepare for the hackathon?

• Bring your own laptop installed with necessary software development tools.

• Please bring along your jacket as it could be cold while you hack throughout the night.

• (Optional) Bring sleeping bags for a late night’s rest

How long is the event?

It will be a 24-hour competitive hackathon.

Registration starts at 9.00 a.m. (Saturday 14th April) and the real hacking session will start at 11.00 a.m. The hacking ends at 11.00 a.m. (Sunday 15th April).

Do I need to pay any fees to join FutureHack 2018?
