Girls in Tech San Diego's Hacking for Humanity Hackathon
Join Girls in Tech San Diego for our Second Annual Hacking for Humanity, a Hackathon for social good! This year our hacking efforts will be focused on tackling topics that deal with San Diego Homelessness.
We’ll be hosted at the NEW Amazon offices in UTC with mentors and speakers from top San Diego tech companies as well as Homeless advocacy networks! Networking and all meals are included!
This hackathon is beginner friendly for participants new to coding or hackathons. However, any and all levels are welcome. There are lots of opportunities for non-coders as well - in areas like design, project management, and social entrepreneurship, and public presentation! Hacking for Humanity is a woman-, man-, non-binary-, POC-, and LGBTQ-friendly environment!
You can come with your own team (no more than 5 per team) or let us match you with your complimentary hackers!. Form a team, solve a problem, create something awesome, present it to the audience and win prizes!
