Green Infrastructure Hack-a-thon
CALLING STUDENTS FROM ALL DISCIPLINES! Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Environmental Sustainability, Architecture, Biology, Business ! MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAMS WILL BE FORMED AND WORK WITH GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE INDUSTRY EXPERTS AND DEVELOP THEIR OWN DESIGNS! THE BEST DESIGNS WILL BE SELECTED FOR REAL PROTOTYPES!
HACKATHON LAUNCH – Friday, October 28 th, 2016 from 6:00pm at the Sears Atrium in the George Vari Engineering and Computing Centre - Welcome reception, special invited speakers, networking with green infrastructure experts, and forming your multi-disciplinary team!
HACKATHON MAIN EVENT DAY – Saturday, October 29th, 2016 from 10:00am – 5:00pm at the Student Learning Center - Learn all about green infrastructure, learn how to ideate and work with a multidisciplinary team, learn to develop designs, learn the social and economic costs, learn to pitch and present your designs!
HACKATHON PRESENTATION/RECEPTION DAY – Sunday, October 30th, 2016 from 9:00am – 1:00pm at the Library Building - Practice your pitch, deliver your designs to the judges, networking reception and awards!
