The Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre and partners welcomes you to it's first environmentally focused HACKATHON - greenHACK.
Spend two days alongside other makers, entrepreneurs, social innovators and students from both Georgian College and Lakehead University to form teams to come up wtih solutions to environmental challenges.
Learn the following skills while onsite at Kempenfelt Conference Centre:
- ideation
- innovative thought processes
- empathy and need finding
- value proposition
- business model canvas
- lean startup methodology
- customer validation
- making the perfect pitch
- and MORE.
Collaborate with your peers and build a startup team.
Date: February 4th and 5th, 2017
Agenda:
The event begins at 8:30 am on Saturday and continues throughout the weekend - ending with a pitch competition on Sunday at 4:00 pm. Celebratory meal to follow.
Day passes available.
Ticket Information:
Youth 18-29 - $35 deposit - refundable upon attendance.
Community members not staying overnight at Kempenfelt Conference Centre - $130.00 for two days of training, materials and breakfast, lunch and dinner.
