Hack Daze @ City of Refuge: NBA All-Star Edition
Saturday, February 9th, 2019
Spend the 2nd weekend of February coding for good! Hack Daze @ City of Refuge is a fun, friendly coding competition that helps turn students in the City of Refuge Tech Academy into breakthrough thinkers and leaders, and puts them on the pathway to becoming quality developers by giving them the opportunity to apply their lessons in a practical way.
In this intense 10-hour event, students will work alongside seasoned developers to build a cool software project. The projects will be combination of creating an API along with a tool to use it. With NBA All-Star Weekend the next weekend, the theme of this Hack Day will be basketball. Students walk away with a better understanding of web development and will meet like-minded developers who could turn into mentors.
