Hackathon 101 - ATX Hack for Change

Just what is a hackathon, anyway? And what's a civic hackathon?

Join us Wednesday, Feb. 7, from 6-7:30 p.m. for the first workshop leading up to ATX Hack for Change 2018. Here you'll learn how anyone — even people without a coding background— can hack for Austin. We'll show you just how you can take your skills, whatever they may be, and put them to use on a project. We'll also showcase the types of projects we have worked on for the last five years.

Whether you're interested in being a hacker or a project champion, we'll cover the basics of what you need to get started and the tools you'll be using in this engaging Q&A.
