Hackathon for Teen Health
“The computer is incredibly fast, accurate, and stupid.
Man is unbelievably slow, inaccurate, and brilliant.
The marriage of the two is a challenge and opportunity beyond imagination.”
What if the most creative minds channeled their focus into solving the most impactful problems of today? Imagine if we could apply the ingenuity that powers the most profound technology into the most fundamental of all human concerns: health.
On March 18, 2017 Crossroads School and the Archer School for Girls will host a high school hackathon to target health problems that teens face in their own lives. Experts and students from all disciplines, skill levels, and locations will meet to identify problems that affect their peers, then will unite to develop solutions to these problems.
For 11 hours, these hackers, experts, and mentors will be together to bring their ideas to fruition. At the end of the event, they will have the opportunity to present their solutions to the judges and the world.
