HackBrunel.com    What is HackBrunel? Brunel University Lonon is hosting their first ever student run 24 hour hackathon! Whether you have never programed before or are a seasoned hackathon veteran, you are welcome to join us in this fun and collaborative invention marathon! Bring your laptops and bright ideas, and we'll cover food, power and Wi-Fi - beginners welcome! Frequently Asked Questions   WHAT'S A 'HACKATHON'? Hackathons are invention marathons for developers, designers, psychologists, researchers and more. During the event, participants ('hackers') will build projects that answer our challenges to build awesome creative projects. There will be a number of prizes for using specific technologies as well as the overall best project.  There will be potential software and harware available to use so don't keep your ideas inside the box! CAN I ATTEND? To attend as a hacker, you must be in University(with a student card) or have finished in the past year. We have no other requirements! We welcome attendees from all disciplines as we strongly believe Hackathon projects require skills beyond just technical - benefiting from skills such as design, entrepreneurship and overall creativity. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING? Your ticket, student ID, any toiletries and a laptop with its charger. Extra pair of clothes and a sleeping bag optional if you're not staying up all night - we'll have resting areas available. That's about it! How much does it cost? Nothing, Nada, Niets!   We want to make this event accessible for everyone, so there is no charge to enter.
