Hacking for the Arts

Girls and boys (4-8th grade) in Connecticut and beyond! Random Hacks of Kindness Junior invites you to take part in Hacking for the Arts -- a 3-hour virtual hackathon that uses Code.org App Lab and Zoom. RHoK Jr has decided to take the Kids Coding for a Cause Hackathons virtual. The same objective and collaboration that you have come to depend on at RHoK Jr hackathons with a new twist – Zoom Breakout Rooms. Participants will work in groups with a mentor (via a break out room) to create a gaming app using Code.org’s App Lab to address a need of a community nonprofit. All of the work will be done virtually via Zoom. Minimal participation is necessary for a successful event.
