With the potential to be the daily first-stop for our advisors, just like their email inbox and meeting calendar, what user experiences, content and features will elevate HDVLink into a premium product and experience?

12:00 pm: Hackathon Kick-Off (Welcome by Bob Oros, lunch provided)

12:30pm: Brief overview of the purpose, schedule and problem statement

12:45pm: Explain the acceptance criteria, process, and deliverables

1:00pm: Teams are formed and a team lead is assigned for each team

1:30pm: End-users ( HD Vest Advisors) talk about their experience with HDVLink:

2:00pm: Quick Q/A session for teams to ask advisors questions

2:30pm: The Hackathon Begins! Teams will work intensely to align their ideas, define the ‘product’, execute, review, iterate; the most exciting and creative part of the hackathon where participants forget their formal roles and titles and self-organize to focus on their mission: to create something innovative and impactful.

4:30pm - 6:00pm: Happy Hour! (cocktails and appetizers)

10:00am: Hackathon Resumes (Breakfast provided)

10:00am - 1:00pm: Teams develop their HDV Link solution. By 1:00pm, teams should have a clear idea of what they will present. (Lunch provided)

1:00pm: Practice ‘Pitch’ Round; ensure teams are almost ready, finalize presentations

3:00pm: Final Presentation Contest; teams pitch their work to the judging panel (executives and advisors)

4:00pm: Judging panel votes (audience gets to vote as well)

4:30pm: Winner is announced! Next Steps

4:30pm: Wrap Celebration Happy Hour (cocktails and appetizers)
