Hearing Focused E-Sewing/Wearable Technology Hackathon
Hearing Focused E-Sewing/Wearable Technology Hackathon
You are invited to a joint event by Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) and Women in Engineering (WIE): E-Sewing/Wearable Technology Hackathon focused on designs to assist people with hearing impairment or prevention of hearing loss.
In 2015 the IEEE Victorian WIE held the first E-Sewing/Wearable Technology Hackathon. This year WIE have teamed up with the IEEE Victorian EMB Chapter to organise a hearing focused Wearable Technology Hackathon.
If you have previously attended our wearable technology workshops or are familiar with Arduino microcontrollers, we invite you to join us for this exciting event. You will have access to sewable microcontrollers and associated components that you can use to work on your own designs ideas you will be presented. There will be prizes for the best designs.
