I/O Extended 2016 Botswana

I/O Extended 2016 Botswana is the first ever 3-day  I/O Extended Event event ever hosted in Botswana, where developers and entreprenuers who are interested in knowing more about Google Technologies and maybe try them out during or after the event, and this happens in Gaborone and everyone watches the keynote from Google, then having the participants forming groups and competing on a 72hr Hackathon( An event where programmers meet and try to compete in solving problem sets they are given or they can come up with their own ideas for the duration stated.). One thing to note is that 9 hours of the event will be on our newly re-introduced passenger train, and we will be travelling from Gaborone to Francistown on the train.

The event is hosted by Google Developer Group Gaborone(GDG Gaborone) in conjunction Google Developer Group Francistown(GDG Francistown) at the University of Botswana, Block 247 Room 293, from there we will proceed to Botswana Accountancy College in Francistown on the passenger train for the hackathon.Everyone with or without programming experience is free to join this endeavour.

NB: You will be responsible for your own train ticket to and from Francistown
