IAC Eitanim - Middle school – 7th-8th graders

IAC Eitanim is a unique leadership and entrepreneurship project-based program for Middle school students, 7th-8th grade, that allows them to connect, explore and experience Israel while preparing them for college and developing their professional skills. The program develops students creativity, Self-Learning & Team work skills through a real world challenges and a connection to Israel, while working with experts on creative ideas and innovative solutions and technologies.  About the mentor: Lyron Bentovim is the President & CEO of The Glimpse Group an innovative holding company for Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Start Ups Based in NY, Lyron has 20+ years of experience founding, managing and advising technology and finance companies ranging from startups to public companies. Lyron came to the US in 1995 and moved to Demarest in 2008 together with his wife Orit, his son Leeor (Sophomore at Boston University) and daughter Maya (Junior at NVD high school). Lyron has a law degree from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and an MBA from Yale University. The program runs for 11 sessions from 11/7/2017 to 1/28/2018 except 12/19, 12/26 and 1/2. Januay 30th is a rain date.  On January 28th we will have Hackathon Etianim signature event. Eitanim adolescents take on leadership roles such as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Marketing Officer to develop valuable skills such as working as a team, project management, storytelling, branding, and more. The Hackathon will feature a variety of professionals who will function as mentors throughout the day. The mentors play a key role in leading students through the process of brainstorming, research, ideation, challenges, and professional product presentation.
