HACKATHON FACILITATORS
HANNAH GEE
Hannah is a senior leader who passionate about building great learning cultures. A genuine collaborator, problem solver and leader. Hannah’s career has encompassed partnering with organisations to get great outcomes for and through people, technology and learning.
Hannah has a background in customised learning design partnering with Global Companies to design customised blended learning solutions. Hannah was Director for The School of Life Australia where she launched a rigorous and fun emotional skills Learning and Development offering. Hannah and her team partnered with 47 organisations over 2 years to embed the TSOL emotional skills learning and development program. A feat she is super proud of all in the quest of building more emotionally intelligent workplaces. For 6.5 years prior to TSOL Hannah was the Marketing Director and lead the Account Direction and visual design team with Australasian based learning design company Inspire Group as Inspire grew into the Australian market partnering with top performing global organisations. Hannah’s early career saw her leading the HR contracting practice at both Wheeler Campbell and Hudson in New Zealand after graduating with her honours in Psychology. Hannah hustles, develops individuals and teams and loves building stuff.
THOMAS ANBEEK
Thomas is a builder with a passion for entrepreneurship and startups. After spending a number of years as a management consultant, the Erasmus University and the Rotterdam School of Management engaged Thomas to aid in establishing the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship (ECE).
After moving to Australia Thomas became the first employee at Startup Victoria. At Startup Victoria Thomas was responsible for growing the community from 3,000 to 11,000 startup enthusiasts, and taking the organisation into sustainability.
IGNITE STARTUP PROGRAM
The IGNITE Breakfast with an Entrepreneur are monthly networking sessions that enable participants to hear from local successful startups.
The IGNITE Startups program offers learnings, mentoring, networking breakfasts and a supportive environment to help you build confidence and minimise the impact of obstacles to move you forward with your startup. The structured and supportive environment enables participants to move their venture forward.
