To provide a platform wehre thinkers, designers, and developers meet to discuss and expand on amazing ideas for projects that will better the future. ImagineHack 2015 also exposes students to opportunities and learning experiences as well as showcasing their talent to top industry experts.     What does "Hack" means ? Hack is a noun referring to a person who is willing to put in a substanstial amount of effort to produce the best solutions even if he/she does not know how to. Conclusion, hackers are doers. You can register as an individual (in one of category) first using this page then later on 26th of Sept, assemble your team with other group mates.   What about fees? There will be a RM10 charge per ticket (EARLY BIRD) for registration fees. Payment will be collected upon registration, or through bank-in (at least one month before the event) in order to secure a seat at the Hackathon. The Money you choose to invest into your development here at this Hackathon will go along way as it provides priceless experience as well as rare opportunities to learn from industry experts. Normal ticket prices are at a standard RM18. GRAB YOUR SEAT TODAY!! :)   What is the maximum number of people in a team?  4 students is the maximum number. 1 student (solo) is the minimum. You are encouraged to find a Mentor (lecturer) to participate as part of your team.       What should I prepare before ImagineHack Hackathon? That amazing idea of yours! You might need to pitch your idea in the Ideator Presentation before the Hackathon starts.      Is it compulsory to attend the PRE-HACK WORKSHOP (APPDEV) ? We highly encouraged you to join our Pre-Hack workshop, regardless whether you are a TECH or NON-TECH person. As a team member / founder in your tech startup (should you intend it to be), it is best if you know EVERYTHING and this includes App Development Another reason for you to come would be that in this Pre-Hack, we have invited EXPERTS in Mobile Development and UI/UX Development from Google Developer Group (GDG) and many other esteemed speakers. This is a rare and golden opportunity to be able to train under them for FREE. SEATS are LIMITED!     Is there an age limit to enter the event? This even is solely targeted at college/university students only.      What can I bring to the event? This is BYOD (bring your own device) Event. You can bring your own laptop device, tablets or even desktop CPU.     Do I have to stay for 24 hours during the hackathon ? YES! THAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE HACKATHON! :) We will be providing comfortable working spaces for all participants.   Will food and drinks be provided during hackathon ?  Tentatively, Yes!     Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No. We prefer that you show us the confirmation ticket from your email.
