For us, this is health-care. This is why we are trying to create the perfect ecosystem where we think we will see innovation happen right in front of us. Our goal is to provide you with the best minds and tangible challenges to really make a difference in health-care and patient care.

Who is behind innovate.healthcare?

We are a small group of dedicated individuals who crave for excellence and innovation in health-care, life sciences and medicine. We bring a considerable number of years in the industry and in patient care to the table. With this background, we have teamed up with partners from politics and industry to make our vision real: Patient empowerment and patient centricity.

What is the goal of innovate.healthcare?

innovate.healthcare is a hackathon and a networking venue. Our goal is to bring bright minds and great ideas together in a stimulating environment. We want people to interact and interchange ideas, thoughts, and wishes and believes for this is the cradle to new entrepreneurial endeavors. We want you to interact with each other on eye level and we want the participants to be able to go out after this event and start founding their own company in health-care.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

We have no age requirements. There will be a guest list at the entrance of the venue, so you will need to bring either your printed ticket or an ID-card to enter the event. . 

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Public Transport:
Exit your train at Hamburg main train station (Hamburg Hbf). Take the S1 (direction Hamburg Airport) or the U1 (direction Norderstedt Mitte) to Ohlsdorf, Hamburg. Then take the Bus 174 (direction Volksdorf) and exit at station Roentgenstraße. 

Car:
Coming from A7: Exit Highway at 23-HH-Schnelsen-Nord onto B432. Follow Ring 3, take B433 (Swebenweg, later Zeppelinstraße) to Röntgenstraße. 
Coming from A1: Exit Highway at 29-Staperlfeld. Follow Alte Landstraße, Ring 3, Volksdorfer Weg, Wellingsbüttler Weg, Wellingsbüttler Landstraße bis Röntgenstraße. 
There will be parking space at the venue.

Plane:
Take Bus 39 (direction Teufelsbrück (Fähre)) or Bus 292 (direction Lattenkamp (Sporthalle)) two stops to Roentgenstraße. Alternative take S1 from Hamburg Airport to Hamburg, Ohlsdorf. Then take the Bus 174 (direction Volksdorf) and exit at station Roentgenstraße.

What should I bring to the event?

Ideally bring your laptop and charger. WIFI will be provided for free at the venue. You will also need your printed ticket or an ID-card to get in.
Other than that you just need a fresh mind and the passion to get involved and do.
