The International Blockchain Hackathon is kicking off on 29-30 March 2017 at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange with participation of leading leading banks.
This is your opportunity develop solutions in Blockchain and get instant feedback as well as support from bank representatives, customize solutions to banks' needs, and possibly get exposed to global bank executives. The best teams will win Bitcoins or workspace at The Floor.
ABOUT THE HACKATHON
Hackathon Subject:
Blockchain solutions for banks
Participant Objectives:
Banks will be presenting challenges in advance and participants will develop solution using one of the common blockchain platforms: ethereum, R3 Corda, Hyperledger Sawtooth lake, Hyperledger Fabric, Bitcoin or others.
PRIZES
For Participants: The winning team will win 5 bitcoins.
For Startups: The winning team will win three months working space at The Floor.

Start Ups
If your startup has a solution that might fit the above requirements, you can register to enjoy the mentoring and guidance of the event, and pitch directly to the judges without taking part in the competition. Register and we'll contact you for further details.
What’s the end goal?
Each team should develop a working prototype of a banking and financial services industry solution, based on pre-defined usages. this hackathon requires the solution to be built using one of the common blockchain platforms (ethereum, R3 Corda, Hyperledger Sawtooth lake, Hyperledger Fabric, Bitcoin or others)
What support will be available?
During the event we will provide technical setup support (Wireless and electricity) as well as a team of mentors to help you develop the right solutions.
What’s the schedule?
Event schedule will be published at the hackathon website. And of course we will provide food and beverages during the entire 2 days, free of charge.
Do I have to come with a team?
If you already have a list of friends or coworkers you can come as a group (each group should be 5-6 participants). If you want to come alone we will help you find a great team to join. Just make sure you choose the right type (Individual / Group) when you register.
Team size
Up to five individuals. But we will make it six if you really want to.
What Should I bring?
A laptop. Your favorite blockchain development platforms. The email confirming your event registration. And one form of Photo ID. That’s all.
Do I have to be a blockchain expert?
As this event is oriented to blockchain based application, background in the technology (including coding) is highly recommended.
Who owns the IP for my idea?
You. Your idea is yours.
What should I bring into the event?
laptop and any other thing you need for a comfortable work environment

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
No. If someone is replacing you at the event, that person is required to register separatley.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
