In this joint hands-on IBM-H2O meetup, we will build a chatbot powered by artificial intelligence and IBM Watson services. You will learn about the building blocks needed to understand natural language user input and how to process requests via a Slackbot. We will cover how Watson Assistant and Watson Tone Analyzer services enable this capability, and deploy the chatbot. This is a fun, meetup session you don't want to miss.
Want to put to good use what you learn here? You can leverage your new knowledge to help solve pressing global problems by participating in IBM’s Call For Code, a new initiative bringing together NGOs, academic institutions, enterprises, and startup developers to compete build effective disaster mitigation solutions, with a focus on health and well-being. (callforcode.org).
Participate in a cause-worthy global online hackathon all by yourself or with a team. Find out all about how developers can do their part by making the world a better place through better disaster preparedness. Of course, cash price reward for the winners is just a bonus! Check out the Code Patterns (http://ibm.biz/AHIBMC4C) built, documented, and presented by expert technologists from IBM, including technical blog posts, tech talks, how-tos, and plenty of code.
