ITU Copernicus Satellite Hackathon
The Copernicus Satellite Hackathon,
focuses on
satellite data-based web apps.
The hackathon will be held at the ITU Design Lab on November 23⁄24 2018.
The hackathon is limited to 50 participants.
There is no predefined topics for the hackathon. Groups of students are encouraged to develop innovative web apps concepts in the domain of their choice.
The Hackathon starts Friday at 4pm with lightning talks, followed by pizza, soda and beers. On saturday, students get guidance and feedback on their concepts and prototypes. At 3pm, each group gets a 3 min presentation. Jury and peoples’ voice pick a winner and two runner-ups. The winner group gets 5000 DKK, each runner up gets 2500 DKK.
The data systems group and ITU PitLab will provide IT support and feedback/sparring throughout the weekend.
