Kids Hackathon

The Mind Lab by Unitec presents Tairawhiti's first kids hackathon. At this free creative tech event we'll give tamariki between the ages of 7 and 14 the tools & materials to explore technology and express their creativity in collaboration with others. Through this tech exploration kids are encouraged to be curious and empathetic towards each other and the world around them. We empower kids to take control of their future and not just passively consume what someone else has designed for them.
