Manchester (Central) Youth Hack #3
Manchester Youth Hack #3 is here! This time at Autotrader's cool Manchester space.
Come and code with your friends - or learn to code and make friends.
Digital companies will set challenges and offer prizes for the best hack. This doesn't just mean the best code - its about working well as a team, being willing to learn, daring to fail...
This is a fun event where the aim is to work together, learn and produce something cool. If you've not done a hack before, no matter - there'll be friendly mentors on hand to help you out.
You just need to bring a laptop and some enthusiasm and be ready to work with other people.
Everyone that takes part in the hack will get the opportunity to attend a big hack meet-up at the amazing Sharp Project with others across Greater Manchester who will also have been hacking.
You could be spotted for your coding talents!
This event is for 13-19 year olds. We will need an emergency contact name and number to allow you to stay unaccompanied.
Lunch will be provided.
This Mcr Youth Hack is part of GM Hackfest, brought to you by Hive Manchester, Hack Manchester and our lovely supporters.
HackManchester Challenge
The reason developers work so well together is that we all believe that the most important question is 'why?' When you have a purpose and are all driven towards the same goals, everyone pulls in the same direction, and you become hugely effective as a team.
Our 'why' is simple: to have a positive impact.
We challenge you to channel that way of thinking and build a hack that will have a positive impact. This could be on an individual, a business, your local community: anything!
