Osarumen Osamuyi is a writer and investment analyst based in Lagos, Nigeria. He works as the Head, Investment and Research at Ventures Platform, a pan-African early-stage tech VC firm. He has a background in media, covering Africa’s startup ecosystems as a reporter and analyst at TechCabal, and in electronics, winning West Africa’s first Virtual Reality Hackathon in November 2016.
In addition to his work at Ventures Platform - developing investment theses, supporting investment decisions, advising portfolio companies - Osamuyi is the author of The Subtext and serves as a mentor at the Google Launchpad Africa Accelerator.
