2018 MIT China Entrepreneurship Open Summit

MIT China Entrepreneurship Open Summit (MIT CEO Summit), organized by TEEC (www.teec.org.cn), MIT CEO (www.mitceo.org) and IEEAC (www.ieeac2015.org.cn), aims to cultivate entrepreneurial mindset, facilitate deep tech innovations, and help launch category defining ventures. The Summit bridges the gaps among academia, industry and capital, by bringing them together to turn scientific discoveries into promising startups and further into game-changing companies.

The 2018 MIT CEO Summit is scheduled for September 15th to September 16th at MIT. It includes:

1. A startup competition featuring 60 pioneering companies

2. A conference focused on deep tech innovations covering  Brain Science, Blockchain, Healthcare, New Materials/Energy...

3. A 24-hour blockchain hackathon

The conference, consisting of keynotes and panel discussions, will start in the morning of September 16th, followed by the startup competition in the afternoon. The blockchain hackathon will be held on September 15th running for 24 hours, with winners announced at the conference.

Attendance for the conference is estimated to be 300 people. Selected speakers include:

1. Guoping Feng, MIT Poitras Professor of Neuroscience, co-founder of Rugen Therapeutics;

2. Longwen Yu,  Founding Partner at Tai Fund;

3. Song Han,  Assis Prof at MIT, co-founder of Deephi Tech;

4. Waikit Lau, Serial Entrepreneur

5. Peter Xiong, Partner, SummitView Capital

20+ VC firms are attending the conference, such as Taiyou Fund, ZhenFund, Sequoia Capital, FreeS Capital, Danhua Capital, InnoAngel Fund, PKU Fund, Cybernault, YouWorld, 8D Capital, SummitView  Capital, etc.
