NASA Space Apps Challenge Hackathon

The NASA Space Apps Challenge is coming to Washington, DC for the first time. Last year, over 25,000 innovators in over 180 locations globally took part in the largest hackathon in the world. The Challenge is a mass collaboration focused on Earth and space exploration that takes place over 48 hours this October 19-21. Help us address Earth science and space exploration challenges using NASA's data to power your project.

Join or create a team and compete for prizes and to be nominated for global judging and recognition. Those teams will create a short video demo for their project, and judges from NASA will select a handful of global finalists from hundreds of submissions.

Innovators of a variety of backgrounds are encouraged to participate. Are you an engineer, technologist, scientist, creative, programmer, student, artist, or maker? Do you have experience in data science, analytics, statistics, mathematics, software development, robotics, AR/VR, information technology, videography, graphics, or related fields? Sign up now with your team or sign up and join a team at the event.
